Tessa Sorensen is a geologist and petroleum engineer with more than 20 years in the industry. After more than 12 years as a wells engineer for ExxonMobil, she served as a Professor of Practice at Colorado School of Mines for drilling and completions engineering in the Petroleum Engineering Department. As the Energy Liaison for the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment in Denver, she coordinates and consults between multiple agencies on active oil & gas developments and regulations related to oil and gas, orphan wells, CCS, and geothermal.
