Eric Unverzagt is BCarbon's new CEO, having joined the non-profit carbon registry in June 2025. He has a background in finance and economics from Trinity University and holds an MBA from the Rice University Business School. With over 20 years of experience in the energy industry, as both a landman and a trader, he brings a strong commitment to environmental stewardship and a deep understanding of carbon credits from both the creation and buyer's perspectives. Eric has worked with companies focused on lowering emissions and brings proven experience in connecting credit creators with buyers.
