Liz has been a geochemist with ECHELON Applied Geosciences Consulting since 2012 after earning her PhD from the University of Pittsburgh. Liz’s work and research has focused on using naturally-occurring isotopic and chemical signatures to characterize groundwater, surface water, produced water, and stray gas. Her expertise includes processing, evaluation, interpretation, and presentation of gas and groundwater geochemistry data to investigate stray gas incidents, primarily in the Appalachian Basin. As a member of the ECHELON team, she combines molecular and isotopic geochemistry data with mapping, stratigraphy, historical research, and literature reviews to implement ECHELON’s stray gas investigation methodology. Liz lives with her husband and two children in Columbus, Ohio.
