Jeff Sorkin is the National Air Physical Scientist and Acting Carbon Partnership Coordinator for the United States Forest Service. Over the past 21 years with the Forest Service, Jeff has primarily served as an air resources specialist and program manager. Throughout his career, Jeff has sought out opportunities to develop a breadth of understanding of natural resource management by providing support and expertise to programs as diverse as Job Corps, Legislative Affairs, Partnerships, and Civil Rights. Jeff’s experience in both environmental science and public policy is exemplified by his passion for building collaborations across disciplines, agencies, and levels of government.
